This project stemmed from employee dissatisfaction at Twitter (X) and led to the creation of X-Connect, a workplace app prioritizing employee well-being, recognition, and professional relationships. The app combines performance-based rewards with an intelligent networking system to foster a healthier, more engaging, and connected work culture.

Core Features of X-Connect:

Together, these features foster a healthier, more balanced workplace, where employees feel valued, respected, and motivated, ultimately improving retention and workplace culture.

We applied Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory of Motivation while developing X-Connect, ensuring that both hygiene factors (like recognition, work-life balance, and respect) and motivators (like rewards, growth, and meaningful connections) were addressed to create a healthier, more engaging workplace culture.
